ABOUT
We built this because the destination was never the problem.
Most travel platforms ask what you like. We ask who you are.
forecast.travel began with a simple, uncomfortable observation: the majority of disappointing trips weren’t caused by bad weather, bad luck, or bad service. They were caused by a mismatch — the wrong pace for that traveler, the wrong kind of place for that personality, the wrong month for what that person actually needed from the trip.
A 2025 Travel Guard survey found that 97% of travelers admit they regret at least one trip they’ve taken. We don’t think that’s a destination problem. We think it’s a fit problem — and fit is something that can actually be measured.
We built the Traveler Fit assessment on more than fifty years of tourism psychology research — Plog’s psychographic model, Crompton’s travel motivation framework, and contemporary studies on traveler satisfaction — to do something no booking platform does: tell you honestly whether a destination is right for you, before you spend the money finding out the hard way.
We don’t earn commission on bookings. We never will. The moment we take a cut from a hotel or a tour operator, our incentive to be honest with you disappears. Our only product is the truth about fit — and that only works if it’s never for sale.
